About this event
Vasquez Rocks, located in the high desert near Agua Dulce Springs, features 932 acres of spectacular rock formations, Tataviam Indian sites, and a seasonal stream. The rocks’ history began in prehistoric times when the sandstone rocks were uplifted at a picturesque angle, showing their jagged red features.
Please Note: There is a water fountain available in the Vasquez Rocks Interpretive Center during business hours only.
Interpretive Center Hours are Tuesday – Sunday 8:00am to 4:00 pm
Dress in layers, bring water and snacks and wear sturdy shoes!
