August 22 - 24, 2022 - Take a trip back in time and visit the biggest &quot;Ghost Town&quot; in the Eastern Sierras. Bodie is located near Bridgeport, Ca. There are several hotels in Bridgeport or you can camp in one of the many campgrounds. I will be camping at &quot;Buckeye Campground&quot; which is off Twin Lakes Road about 7 miles west of Bridgeport. We will attend &quot;Bodie&quot; on Tuesday August 23, 2022 and spend the day there photographing the town. The weekdays offer less visitors so this is why we are planning the trip during the week. <br />Bodie is located on SR 270 Approx. 13 miles east of Highway 395. The first 10 miles of SR 270 are paves the last 3 miles are a dirt road. Entrance fees are: $8.00 per adult $5.00 per child under 16 years of age.
