Author Last Post
Tuesday, January 31st – 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Basic Landscape Photography - David Saffir instructor $79
Go beyond snapshots and lets get into photographs that really get that “wow” reaction! This workshop is about learning to make the right selection. Whether it is picking the correct location, the right time of day, or just the correct camera settings. We will also discuss basic composition guidelines and what might be the best angle or point of view. Please bring your camera, but it is not required.

Monday, February 6th - 6:30pm to 9pm
Basic DSLR Camera – Mel Carll instructor $159 for all 3 sessions (Part 1 of a 3 part workshop)
This 3 session workshop will focus only on the camera.  We will start session 1 at the beginning with camera modes, aperture, shutter, and ISO, what these mean, and where they are on your camera.  We will also discuss how they work together to create the photos you are looking for and then talk about what to work on during the days between sessions.  This is a hands-on class, please bring your DSLR camera to class.  This class is not geared toward point and shoot cameras. (Part 2 will be held on 2/13 and Part 3 on 2/20/2012).

Thursday, February 9th- 6:30 to 9pm
Intermediate DSLR Camera - Mel Carll instructor $159 for all 3 sessions (Part 1 of a 3 part workshop)
This 3 session workshop will take what you have learned in Basic Camera and focus behind the camera.  We will start session 1 with composition, camera setting, using a tripod and preparing for a photowalk in session 2. (Part 2 will be held on 2/11 on location and Part 3 on 2/16/12 back in the classroom).

Saturday, February 11th - 9am to 11am (ON LOCATION)
Intermediate DSLR Camera - Mel Carll instructor (Part 2 of a 3 part workshop)
Today we take our photography to the streets.  That’s right, no indoor class today as we head outside. Join Mel as you take everything you have learned and head outdoors and start taking photographs, not just snap shots.  Today we will focus on composition, lighting, exposure and just having fun in the field.  Please bring your camera, tripod, charged batteries, memory cards and your sense of adventure. Dress comfortably. (Part 1 will be held on 2/9 and part 3 on 2/16/12).
