Vasquez Rocks, located in the high desert near Agua Dulce Springs, features 932 acres of spectacular rock formations, Tataviam Indian sites, and a seasonal stream. The rocks’ history began in prehistoric times when the sandstone rocks were uplifted at a picturesque angle, showing their jagged red features.
 
Please Note: There is a water fountain available in the Vasquez Rocks Interpretive Center during business hours only.
Interpretive Center Hours are Tuesday – Sunday 8:00am to 4:00 pm

Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, sunscreen and bring plenty of water.

Dusty plans to be at the Rocks at sunrise and return at sunset. The gate will be closed but there is street parking.
